If you'll , you would like your child to eat ONLY nutritious food every meal. But let's face it - most children are picky eaters and aren't keen on eating vegetables. Good thing there are many ways to include nutrition into your daily meals that children won't even notice!

Try these healthy and delicious dinner recipes!

Cheesy Chicken with Broccoli Pasta




What you need:


  • 2 boneless and skinless chicken breasts sliced into bite-sized strips
  • 1 head broccoli, dig florets
  • 3 cups fusilli pasta
  • 1 can chicken broth
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 cups half-and-half
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 4 dashes Italian seasoning



Method:


  • Freshly grated parmesan cheese to taste
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Red pepper flakes to taste (optional)
  • Saute chicken on olive oil over medium high heat during a large pot for 3-4 minutes. Add the pasta, broth, garlic and half-and-half to the pot. 
  • Increase heat and produce mixture to a boil, reducing heat once boiling. 
  • Simmer for 10 minutes, stirring occasionally.
  • Reduce heat to medium-low before adding broccoli. Simmer, covered, for five minutes. 
  • Add salt and pepper (and red pepper flakes if using). 
  • Stir and take away from heat. 
  • Transfer to a dish and serve topped with parmesan cheese.




Ultimate Meatball Subs





What you need:


  • 6 hotdog buns
  • 1 package Rosina Italian Style meatballs
  • 1 can crushed tomatoes
  • 3/4 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 2 garlic cloves, pressed
  • 1 tablespoon + 1 teaspoon olive oil
  • 2 teaspoons dried oregano
  • 1/2 teaspoon sugar
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 small pinch red pepper flakes



Method:


  • Heat olive oil during a saucepan over medium heat and cook garlic, oregano and red pepper flakes for 1 minute. 
  • Add the ingredients tomatoes, sugar and salt and stir until ingredients are well-combined. 
  • Add the meatballs and stir, covering with sauce. 
  • Cover and cook for 20-25 minutes, stirring occasionally.
  • Remove from heat and spoon meatballs and sauce into hotdog buns (divide into six buns). 
  • Top each with mozzarella cheese and cook on a pre-heated broiler for 2 minutes (check frequently to make sure they are doing not burn!). 
  • Allow to chill down for several minutes before serving. 
  • Best served with healthy chips or a salad!


You don't need to spend hours and hours within the kitchen to prepare a healthy, balanced and more importantly, delicious meal for your picky baby and you only need to be creative and experimental together with your cooking!
